Wm Blake
William Blake, watercolour portrait by John Linnell; in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
William Blake represents the wild, idiosyncratic thread of English literature that makes it so much fun. He was beloved but not renowned while alive, self-published for the most part, and magnificently entangled in a generalist fusion of many arts. I love him.
Much more to come. Raleigh Rambles is under construction!
